CARYN JOHNSON
I chose to speak about an actress, comedian and we have all grown to love. Yes, her name is Whoopi Goldberg. She grew up in New York with her mother and brother. The theatre has always been her dream. Whoopi find out she is dyslexic as an adult. www.achievement.org/autodoc/page/gol0int-2I found that ironic because I also am dyslexic and didn't know until I was in college. We both never let this stop us from reaching our goals in life.

I am very suprised to hear that you both are and could never tell because it's not obvious, and with all the achievements. That's proof that these disabilities can be controlled or overcome with the right approach.
That's the spirit! Kudos! Some famous people are dyslexic too you know? Like Ozzy Osbourne of the Black Sabbath. Never give up!!! AAAGH!!!!!
I want to say thank you for the encouragement some of you have given me. When I see how many famous people have accomplish such great goals, it makes me even more determine to finish whatever I started.
