Are Kids Stupid?

I work in a Special Education room. Some students I feel were misevaluated because of behavior and not academics. I don't consider emotional impairment a disability. I think it's another name for temper tantrum.

Observing Students Disabilites

Individualized Education Program otherwise own as (IEP) this describes the educational and needs for each student. Each child receives special education and related services design to reach their goal. The IEP creates an opportunity for teachers, parents, school administrators, related services personnel and students to work together to improve educational results for children with disabilities.

Students Learning Disabilities

I work for the Department of Education in an elementary building. My students are Special Ed. Each student has an IEP that states their individual disability. This allows you how to help the child reach their goal.

Learning Disabilities

Students are treated differently from the "normal" people. For instance,using or seeing too many words at one time causes the mind to shut down. Students have to take information in smaller portions. Some students depending on the severity of their disability may need one on one assistance.
